HOW TO MAKE THE PAYMENT DEPOSIT?
The deposit will have to be made by bank trasnfer in advance to secure the booking. The deposit funds will need to have cleared well in advance of the hire date, the booking is not confirmed until the funds have cleared.
HOW SHOULD I PLAN MY BOOKING/HIRE TIME?
When planning and booking your time remember to include your set up and take down time within your total booking time to avoid running into overtime charges.
HEALTH & SAFETY + PUBLIC LIABILITY
Please note hirers (photographers, film makers, production companies, etc) should have their own public liability insurance to cover any accidents to their crew, cast, models and staff. GOOT Studio will not be held responsible or liable for any accident caused by the hirer their staff, team or clients whilst using the location/studio/equipment.
SECURITY
On your first hire of the studio, someone from GOOT will be in the office on site to make sure your booking run smoothly in case you need any help.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
You are free to cancel your booking without incurring any charges if you cancel with more than 7 days prior to your booking. If you cancel within 7 days before your booking date, half the fee will be payable. Cancellation within 24 hours of your booking will mean the full fee will be payable.
EXTRA TIME
If the studio is available after your booking, we can accommodate you for some extra time. Extra time fee is £45/h (or £25 for 30 minutes), payable at the end of your booking by bank transfer or cash.
SHOOT AREA
All location hire is for our studio spaces only and not surrounding areas.
SOUND AND NOISE
The studio is not professionally soundproofed, however it's in a quiet building away from the roads (you can't hear cars) and it's suitable to record sound. We can't guarantee that it will be quiet for the whole duration of your booking.
Music can be played on speakers but we would ask you to keep it at a reasonable level. Live music is allowed only for unplugged acoustic setups, we can't accommodate full bands with drum kits.
USE OF BACKDROPS
You are welcome to use our in-house backdrops, however there's a £5 per meter fee for the part we need to cut after your session, if it gets dirty, torn, put on the floor... etc.
BREAKAGES
Any breakages or damage to the location/equipment, must be reported at the end of your booking. Breakages or damage to location/furnishings will be charged to the client, and will not be covered by GOOT Studio. The person booking is responsible the full cost of any damages.
Booking a session will be considered confirmation that you have read and accepted the T&Cs of GOOT Studio.
